Route 66 Event (Rental) Space

The Atlanta Public Museum is excited to announce the New Rental Space available at the Museum. Previously, the Ballroom area, located on the 2nd floor, was used for events, programming and public rental space. Unfortunately, due to damage sustained to the 1867 walls during some of these events, we can no longer allow for this space to be utilized in that manner.

However, the Museum Staff & Advisory Board have been working diligently to find a suitable solution ~ to meet the need for programming events, the public's need for rental space and a suitable location for community events. And so the Route 66 Event Space was created.

Beginning April 1, 2026, this space is available for rental by the general public, not-for-profits, etc. The Event Policy for this space is attached below, which includes the form to request a rental. We have also included several options for set-up considerations. The Calendar of Events, located under the Special Events tab is updated daily with room availability. Please check there for date(s) you may be considering.
