Welcome to Lincoln's Travels

Meet Flat Lincoln. He's our Ambassador of Learning as he travels around the world with people who have visited the Atlanta Public Museum.

If you would like to have Flat Lincoln join you on your travels, just ask for your Flat Lincoln at the front desk. Then as you travel this summer, take random pics with him and you. Then sent the pics to atlantamuseum@yahoo.com. Include the first name(s) of everyone in the picture and where you are... we'll post your pictures here with the others we receive. Check back often to see where Flat Lincoln has traveled. Let's send him around the world!!

Hey folks Flat Lincoln here! I met some new friends Mike and Jan and they are taking me on a road trip on Route 66 all the way to Santa Monica, CA. They forgot me when they went up in the arch in St Louis 😢 but we ate at this really, really good burger place in Tulsa OK. Here’s Mike holding me up for a photo! See y’all soon!

And of course, Flat Lincoln and Brett had to stop at  Buc-ee's. We hope Flat Lincoln didn't get lost inside this crazy big, fun gas station. LOL

I'm a hungry traveling Lincoln... this time I'm at the Missouri Hick BBQ in Cuba, MO. It was finger-licking good and I didn't get any on me!

Hittin' the Trail

in Sante Fe, NM

WOW! The Grand Canyon. Luckily, Lisa kept me from falling in as I leaned over the barrier fencing. :)

Where's Lincoln . . .

Now do you see him??

Reading about the Petrified Forest in NE Arizona before we headed out to do some rock climbing to see the petroglyphs carved into the rocks.

Enjoying time with Flat Lincoln at our cottage at Gleniffer Lake, Alberta, Canada.  Elva and Warren

I wonder if Flat Lincoln brought

his swimsuit along???

What an interesting place we stopped to visit!!! The Continental Divide - where water flows to the west and the Pacific Ocean AND to the east to the Atlantic Ocean. We were really up HIGH.

This was a unique attraction in Madrid, NM that had cool vintage vehicles, exhibits on the town's coal mining history and equipment they used. Good thing I was wearing black so the coal dust doesn't show.
